@RicBra @alexbrandsen @matherion for now we would like to limit the resource usage, since we don't yet have any long-term funding, and video is a high resource usage - sorry Ricarda!

@bjorn @RicBra @alexbrandsen Yeah, we shouldn't dive into Bonfire too enthousiastically. Bjorn and me haven't even had time yet to peacefully explore the instance and settings and think about how we'd want to configure it. Also, what sensible limits for e.g. video files would be hasn't been thought about yet. We also don't have a preliminary governance yet - or policies etc. So - we'll get back to you when we have some minimal ideas about this 🙂
But of course you can upload to video.edu.nl - that's also on the fediverse 🤩
(Well - not exactly also, since this ConnectingScience BonFire instance isn't federating with the fediverse -- yet 🙂)
